DIY Deodorant

My armpits smell awesome! But seriously, homemade deodorant is easy to make and you probably have all of the ingredients at home. Store bought deodorant is made with chemicals and ingredients that can irritate the skin. This homemade version is all natural and the best part is that you get to choose what oils to use to create your own unique scent!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup aluminum free baking soda
1/4 cup arrowroot
2-3 tbsp. coconut oil
15 drops essential oils (I used a mix of rosemary and lemon)
1 empty deodorant container (buy here from Amazon)

Directions:
1. Mix the banking soda, arrowroot, and essential oils together in a small bowl using a fork.
2. One tbsp. at a time, mix in the coconut oil until you have a thick paste. It will look softer than regular deodorant, but I promise it comes together!
3. Using a spoon (or your hands) smash the deodorant into the empty container. Press it as firm as you can.
4. Pop the deodorant into the fridge to set for about 30 minutes.
5. Use and smell awesome!
